Frequently asked questions.
Yes. The check is free, and our help applying is free during the pilot. We never sell your information or use it for ads.
UniHealth is not a government agency. It is run by UniHealth Technologies, Inc., a public benefit corporation, and is not connected with or endorsed by the government.
The county and state agencies make every decision about your benefits.
Not to check what might help. You only need an account when we help you apply, so your application and papers have a safe place to live.
Letters and your own words are read by a program on computers we run ourselves, never by an outside AI company. In the free check, we don’t keep your pictures or save your answers to a record about you.
If you apply with us, we keep your papers in encrypted storage. Uploaded documents are deleted 90 days after the county decides. You can download or delete your records at any time.
We check each program’s published rules against what you tell us and show why each one came up. A match is worth exploring, not an approval.
The county or agency that runs the program makes the final decision.
We read the directories that plans publish and show the date we last checked each one.
A missing listing does not mean a doctor is out of network. Call the plan and the doctor’s office before you choose.

A UniHealth staff member checks that paper before their signature counts.
Yes. We will mail you the papers to sign with a pen, free. You can also ask for a paper copy of anything you signed.
Sign in and open your records page. Choose “Delete my account and records.” The page tells you what was deleted right away and what, if anything, the law says we must keep.
